About Us

We come from the trade we serve

LineGuard Alliance was built by a former journeyman lineman who worked the same energized lines, the same storm calls, and the same long nights you do. We've stood at the funerals and watched families try to make permanent decisions on the worst week of their lives. That's why we teach before we ever talk product: every lineman and every family deserves to fully understand their coverage long before anyone has to use it.

The full story

Six years as a lineman. Apprentice through journeyman, distribution and a few seasons of storm work. It was good work — the crew, the problem solving, the feeling of flipping a neighborhood back on at two in the morning.

Then came the loss of a close friend. He was a lineman for 8 years, careful, experienced, and well liked. None of that mattered on that day. What stuck came weeks later, when his family had to add up the death benefit from work and realize it bought her months, not a future. They were making enormous decisions in the worst state of mind a person can be in...

A few years back came another loss in the family. Slower, not expected, and still nothing anyone was prepared for. Same pattern: the paperwork does not wait for grief to finish....      There is more tragedy behind this work than one page can hold, and that's the why..

Studying insurance came next — driven by one question: what should those families have had? The products weren't the problem. The explanations were. Nobody was talking to linemen like linemen.

  • Grief and paperwork arrive together, and no one is ready for either.
  • Most families don't know what their coverage actually pays until it's too late.
  • The gap is rarely courage or income — it's clear information in plain language.
  • Brotherhood means looking out for a coworker's family before the worst day comes.

So that's what LineGuard Alliance does. We explain it plainly, help you review what you already have, and let you decide with a clear head — well before anyone has to make the decision for you. Brotherhood, integrity, and straight information.

How We Operate

Four rules we don't bend

Honesty over urgency

We've buried a brother from the crew and we've buried family. We'll share those stories when they help you understand what a family actually walks through — never to rush you into a decision. You get facts, numbers, and options, and you take all the time you need.

Trade-first knowledge

We spent years on the line, so we can talk classifications, storm work, per diem, and hazard underwriting without a translator. We've seen what the job asks of a body and a family, and that experience shapes every review.

Family always welcome

Your spouse, your kids, your parents — anyone who'd be affected is more than welcome at the table. They're part of the policy too, and they're the ones who'd have to use it, so they deserve to hear it straight from the start.

No is a fine answer

If what you already have fits your family, we'll say so and shake your hand. The goal is that you understand your coverage — not that you buy something.

Protect your family before life makes the decision for you

No pressure, no scare tactics, no obligation. Just a straight conversation about what you have, what it actually covers, and what it would cost to fix the gaps.
